Its been 7 days since I've had two Wisdom Teeth removed (bottom was impacted). There is still a throbbing pain near the lower extraction site. Normal tylenol controls that pretty well.
My question -- Is it normal to have pain a week after removal?
I'm not looking for diagnoses. This is not an Infection or dry socket.
I think everyone is a little different, but I can remember when I had mine taken out they had to be surgically removed and I didn't ever have much pain. But my sister's were just a normal removal and she was on codine for two weeks. So i wouldn't worry to much about it as long as you know it isn't a dry socket! If it really worries you, you can always call your dentist and ask.
