Ive had diareha for the past 4 days (bad enough that i had to go in school), today i saw something wierd in my stool, there were like wavy things that sorat looked like worms, is it possible i have worms? my only symptom is diarreha other than that i fell not 100% but im not dyin
People do get worms, but seldom talk about it. Doctor said 97% of people have worms, but only 3% are bothered by them. Pin worms are the most likely, from not washing hands before eating (your seat itches, especially when they come out at night), but there are also tapeworms (you're hungry ALL the time). The old folks used to say when a child has worms to let him eat a raw potato. Might work if that's it. If it's pin worms, when you wake up at night have someone put a piece of scotch tape across the anus and take it to doctor - you may see the worms or eggs. He can give you a medicine to kill the worms but not you. I'm sure there are other kinds of worms, but don't think of any at this time. Good luck!
