The PR interval represents the time from the onset of atrial depolarization to the onset of ventricular depolarization. This is the top portion of your heart beating and the lub in lub-dub when you listen to your beat. It is a measured time on the ekg lines. So basically your lub is a little shorter then normal. A short PR interval may also occur as a normal variant meaning that its not a big deal, although it is much more common in the pediatric population and at faster heart rates. In itself it is not dangerous, only when compounded by other heart problems would it matter.
