I had a soccer game yesterday and i stepped in front of a shot
and the ball hit the right side of my right foot, turned my foot and i landed right on it. I came out of the game but it felt better after a few minutes. A couple hours later, it started hurting again, worse than it did at first. I can't take motrin because of other problems or any other anti-inflammatories so what is another way to help it? is there anything else other than R.I.C.E.?
No, and you shouldnt be playing on it until it is completely healed. Your ankle has important and very fragile tendons running around the side of your ankle bone and these take a long time to heal properly. Rest it, ice it and keep it elevated. Other than that, espcially if you cant take anti inflammatories there is not a lot else you can do or should be doing. Do yourself a favour and let it heal, it will only cause more problems in the future if you dont!
