Septoplasty please help!!?

can see stitch poking out the dissolvable stitch is this normal? had the operation a week ago and my right nostrol is block most of the time and when i look up at it at the top of the nose the septum is blocking theairlow but in the other nostrol it is fine and looks normal is this all fine or what ??? isit swelling or is it bent again!!! i been to the gp 3 times at the begginin of the week and they said its fine (Swelling) but im so worred can some1 reasure me please: thanks:P
You're going to have swelling for awhile, especially in the nostril they worked on the most or where they made the incision(s). your nose is a very sensitive area and your body sends that inflammation response because it sees the surgery as an irritation. sometimes stitches (even dissolvable ones) stick out after surgery, if they fail to dissolve the doctor will clip and remove them. You can mention your concerns with your surgeon for more specific information based on your case but I think you are probably going through the normal healing process
