i had septoplasty just over a week ago i can see a stich which looks like a thick nose hair (poking out) is it normal for the stitch to be poking out and what should i do with it?.... :)
I would assume it's a "dissolvable" stitch. That's what they use in places where you can't cut them out. Your body is probably working to expell it and dissolve it and it should come out on it's own. Assuming you have to go in for a follow-up, you can have them pluck it for you. I'd wait a few more days before plucking it myself. I had stitches migrate out once. It was pretty weird.
