Hello all, i have recently started walking and jogging. And my claves seem to be hurting alot, well i tried to stretch them out first and i think i overdid it and pulled my calf muscle. IT is very sore, and the best way i can expalin it is that it feels like it is a constant Charlie Horse. I am having trouble even walking from place to place. Does this sound liek a normal pull (i have never had one before) and what are the best ways to treat it? Thank You in advance. Personally I found that mineral ice (buy at your local drug store) helps. massaging and stretching help as well. But you have to let it heal. You obviously know how to stretch before walking, but if your muscles are not stretched out enough you can pull a muscle easily. Keep streching to work it out....
