my 9yr old has always had problems with breathin due to large tonsils and adenoids. so much so that her breathin terrifies me at night as she cant breath through her nose and sounds like shes stopped sometimes, so i let her sleep with me. my dilemma is, i have to call the hospital to make an appt tomorrow. i know at first she will see a consultant and then i guess wait for another appt for her surgery, but i dont know whether to wait until after xmas. it will be just her poor little luck that it will be right on christmas that she has this surgery and will be poorly all over the festive season. sometimes i think im bein cruel to think such a thing but another part of me, wants her to have a really great christmas. does anyone have a rough idea how long it takes to get an appt for surg...
