I am 19 years old. I had my last period in June 2007. When I went to OBGYN the doctor told me that it is probably because I am "so in shape." I do the elliptical every day for 60 minutes, eat a healthy diet, and feel totally healthy. I am 68 inches tall and 115lbs. I had my period regularly monthly until the beginning of 2006...when it began to get very unstable... It was probably because I started going to the gym every day...and I did lose like 10lbs... Without gaining weight, I think the only way to get my period is to take the BC. My doctor prescribed Microgestin 1.5/30 (spelling?)...I was wondering if Birth Controls are safe and what I should expect when I start taking them.
