Sadly, no. The transformation from HIV to aids occurs when the CD4 count (T-cells) drops below 200. Is your partner on any type of therapy? If money and/or insurance is an issue try getting on Ryan White, an American government insurance assistant program that helps people with HIV/AIDS. It can either pay for your medications or pay co-pays you might have if you're uninsured/under insured. Go to your local health department for more information. Currently I'm taking 'Atripla' a once a day combination therapy and it's really helped me a lot.
