My boyfriend just got out of jail and he told me he didn't take a crap for the full month he was in there. This cannot be to healthy and can it led to any health problems? I get worried about things like this. And no this is no joke I'm being honest. Only serious answers please. >

I don't know what he did. He has been sitting on the toilet for about 2 hours now. And his body wouldn't have shut down there have been people that haven't crapped in 5 yrs.

Your boyfriend needs to see a doctor. If not able to have him drink lots of fluids, eat foods high in fiber, drink prune juice. Not having a bowel movement for a month could be VERY bad news. Could point to bowel obstruction, impaction, and several other problems. You could also try over the counter laxatives, suppositorys, or enemas. This is a serious issue. I know a lot of people get weirded out talking about bowel problems, but he needs medical attention. I feel for him, he must be in pain.
