I'm not Feeling bad, but for the past couple of days I had been fighting a light head cold. No fever, and I am completely functional. Nothing to take work off for. I took a short 1 hr. flight and my ears became severely plugged. I never experienced this before atleast not this extremely. It took my ears 8 hours to get back to normal, with a bit of my help. Early the next morning I went to blow my Nose and I heard one of my ears pop. The room started spinning, spinning, spinning. I then became severely nauseated and vomited. The Spinning only lasted a few minutes, but was so severe that I had to vomit. I couldn't walk or I would've fallen. Needless to say, I'm feeling fine now, but afraid to blow my nose. Please advise.
You have fluid in your middle and possibly inner ear. You can and should consult your Doctor for help. This is Why it isn't a good idea to fly when you have a cold.
