My father is in final stages of cancer, it has spread all over his body, and he is real bloated, what does this mean if
anything?
my grandfather died of stomach cancer and his stomach was bloted beyond belief. the rest of him was a skeleton. I can only assume that it is normal and there isn't anything that can be done. If your father has it all over his body then he would probably blote everywhere. The cancer preduces fluid that the body organs can't get rid of so it swells up in the body. Some times the organs get eaten away by the cancer and stop functioning properly therefor they secreet into the body.It dosen't seem good if that is the case. I'm not a specialist so I can't tell you what it means but be prepared for the worst. Sorry you have to go through this. Remember to tell your dad you love him every day,though you probably already do, as you seem to care enough to try and understand what it is that is happening to him. I send you a big hug. And hope.
