I take Ginseng for years and sometimes even after the expiration date, my friend says expiration date in this case is just for the producer and not really significant for the user. Is it true?
no, its not true. the expiration date is for when the medication is suppose to used by, or discarded. if a medication is way past the date i wouldn't recommend using it. if it was a couple days or a week past, there probably wouldn't be any harm in using it. the expiration date is for when the drugs desired effects are estimated to change and either become weaker or unsafe to take.
