for what they may be looking for i think its inflammation caused by anti nuclear Blood cells
Most (most) cases of reynaud's are idiopathic....but doctors usually look for more serious causes that the "syndrome" may (may) be an indicator of.
So, in short, don't panic yet.
Usually, Reynaud's is just Reynaud's........
Like most of us.....try to avoid having your hands and arms get cold. I know...it's not as easy as it sounds........ After you have it for 10 or more years, you just instinctively deal with it, whether you have it under control or not....LOL
In my case, it is caused by vascular disease, secondary to diabetes. Very common and very expected in older diabetics.
This morning, due to several reasons, my house was very cold...I could "pinch up" an inch of Skin on the back of my hand, and it would stay that way. My fingers were shriveled and dead looking. Now, they are right as rain. Of course, one must realize that "bad attacks" do some damage at a cellular level, and should be avoided at all costs.
We all do our best....
