I know cutting isn't going to solve anything so don't give me a lecture about why I should quit. I want to stop but I can't. The longer I go with out cutting myself the deeper I end up cutting when I "give in" to the urge. I'm really scared that one of these days I'm going to accidentally hit a vein and kill myself. However I'm too embarrassed to tell anyone because I don't want them to think I'm doing it for attention and I can't stop on my own...Can someone please help or give me some advice...??

I understand that you are embarrassed to ask anyone you know about this, but there has to be someone who you can trust.
If you can't talk to your family, talk to a counselor at school. If you're out of school, go to a counselor that can get you some help. You can find someone through your medical insurance if you have any. If not check your local phone book for hotlines that can help you to find some affordable help.
You really need to talk to someone, to figure out why you are doing this.
