im getting mine taking out friday and just wondering what its gonna be like during the surgery and wondering if ill be good enough to go to the panthers game sunday
In my early 20's, I had mine taken out in pairs on each side. All 4 were impacted. It was done in the oral surgeon's office. Had general anesthesia (sodium brevathol, similar to truth serum) and laid in recovery room for about 1/2 hour afterward before my sister came to take me home. Couldn't eat anything the same day except oatmeal and porridge, but could eat not too chewy foods the next day. Pain wasn't so bad and only needed Tylenol the first day. Got the stitches out a week later with no problems. You should be fine for the game.
