Female Hair Loss Question: Sore Scalp & Tons of Hair Falling Out. HELP!?

For the past year I have been experiencing a sore scalp in a male balness pattern. You know...in the front top of my scalp in a U shape. Its getting really bad. Not so much receeding anymore but taking a deeper U shape. When ever my scalp gets sore in this area my hair falls out quite rapidly and with barely any touch. I falls out from the follicle. When the soreness goes away, my hair stops falling out. Sometimes my scalp gets so sore that it hurts just to move my hair from side to side. Anybody every experience this or heard of it?
