I hate when I stumble into a question on Yahoo! Answers about.. "I never had sex. I'm a 40 year old virgin. No one loves me." or something similar and someone answers and say "Just wait for the right person! Think of the STDs you can get from sex! You don't need sex! Play a board game! Oh boy! Isn't that more fun than sex?"
Okay, before I continue my question, I want to say that I don't want any retards answering this question. Last time I made a question similar to this, people took those quotes I just said literally as if someone said the same exact thing like I said all the time.
Anyways, I was wondering if there is anyone in here who has ever said anything similar to "YOU CAN GET STDS! WAIT".. and I want to know why. Why do you think that is helpful? Why do you think a 19 year old, 30 year old, 40 year old who wants to lose his virginity so bad don't know about STDs and why do you think that person should wait any longer? it's because there really are that many clueless people when it comes to STD's and the complications of sex in realationships. Alot of people in the 30's and 40's lived through a period of time when casual sex was a very scary time because of the new discovery of AID's and the resurgence of antibacterial resistant STDs. The younger generation can't imagine times when Dentists and Doctors didn't even think about using gloves, when diseases didn't have drugs to combat them, ect. ect. We were given a wake up call less than 20 years ago, but we're starting to take medical advances for granted and get sloppy again. Good for those that tell people to learn more...
