Down syndrome :D?

How would you describe a normal day/week for a child with down syndrome?
What does the parent do throughout the day/week for the child?
I'm doing a presentation, and I can't find anything about a 'normal day/week'
Hi! a "typical" day /week is going to be very different for each child depending upon their age and development and their family dynamics (my suggestion would be to use several examples in your presentation).
I have a 4 yr old son with DS our day begins with him waking me up at 5 am (sometimes earlier) because he has climbed into bed with us and has accidentally climbed on mine or My husbands head in the process (this is Why I am up at 4 am today). He usually gets up around 6 am and I give him his breakfast and he watches elmo and curious george. he gets ready for school (he is in early intervention pre-school through Our school district). by 8:20 he is dressed in his jacket and boots and is walking out the door to the school bus that picks him up in front of our home. he spends 2 1/2 hours in school playing with other kids with special needs and visiting the kindergartners and teachers. during his school time he receives occupational therapy, Physical Therapy and speech. by 11 am he is riding the bus back home. (I know the minute the bus comes down the road because the dogs are all excited) he greets our labs with a "OP"!! (meaning stop it!) he is getting kissed way too much and hates it and he goes over to "his" dog... kirby, a german shepherd and sits down with him in the kennel to tell him about his day and hug him. then it is lunch time, more so for the dogs since they sit by him and wait for him to throw them some food and he always does. then it is time to destroy my clean living room with toys. he will play with his matchbox cars and color pretty pictures (sometimes on things other than paper). if he is thirsty he will climb on the counter and open the fridge (we had to put a clasp on it to make it harder for him to get in) and point to what he wants to drink, if I forget to "lock" the fridge he will pull out all of the food. by 2 pm he is ready (and so am I) for a nap. I grap his sippy cup of milk, his curious george blanket and a book and I read him a story and ask him to point to different things in the book, once finished I rock him to sleep (ok I will admit I sometimes rock myself to sleep as well...lol) by 4 pm he is awake and ready to destroy my house further with his play and is ready to go when it comes to playing rough (wrestling with his 6 yr old brother) if it is nice outside we go and play in the yard, if not they will build forts with blankets and kitchen chairs while I make supper. if supper is something he does not like (he will not eat it! he hates anything that is new and heaven forbid if I give him something sweet...yikes! he has never in his life tried cake, cookies, candy...absolutely refuses it, but if you give him something spicy like chilli or a slim jim...omg he will eat it all...lol) by 7 pm we are all watching a little tv his favorite show is American Idol...lol he absolutely loves music and will stand in the middle of the living room, sway back and forth (dance) and hold a pretend microphone up to his Mouth and "sing", he also likes country videos and he will stop whatever he is doing to watch Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. by 8:30pm he is ready for bed, he will not fall asleep in his bed so he again needs to be rocked to sleep. this is a "typical" day during the week. on the weekends I work so My husband is with the kids. and they usually go out chasing around and will stop in at my work for a visit. I always come home to a house that is destroyed...it seems some men can not do two or three things at one time like clean a house, do laundry AND watch kids! but it doesn't matter I guess since the kids are still alive and happy...lol
