ok i have a obstetrician and he is not very good he forgot about one of my bloodworks and so i ended up calling my family doctor and he got the form for me then when i went back for my appointment next month he said sorry he forgot n gave me a form for it then i told him i already went and got it and he told me it was the wrong one and i went to the mds lab and they said it was the same one
needless to say he is flighty.. and doesnt speak very good english. but it is to late to switch doctors i was told.
anyways i was talking to someone recently and she said that everyone she knew (like ten people) that had him all had c sections and most of them didnt even need it.
she told me he likes to do c-sections because he makes more money for the surgery.
i talked to a couple of the people and they said the same thing.
needless to say i dont wanna c-section unless needed but it is my first pregnancy n i dont know wat to do or say. not tryin to sound stupid but wat do i do?
I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It is NEVER EVER EVER too late to switch doctors. And when it comes to your health and well being, especially during this important time in your life, a competent doctor is crutial. You need someone to care for you, not push you along like cattle.
Consider switching practices, sometimes doctors in the same practice do the same things.
Midwives are tremendous as well, and have a habit of treating you as a whole person, not someone with an illness- which most OB's do.
