I recently have been suffering from a sinus Infection for almost a week now. I went to the doctor and got on antibiotics and most of the illness is gone but I still feel lightheaded/dizzyness sometimes especially while walking which leads to nausia. I didn't have pain in my EAR to think the infection had worked its way into my ear to create an ear infection since my ears dont hurt or seem under a lot of pressure but I can only assume the dizzyness would come from the inner ear. I've went to the doctor three times and never got help about the lightheaded/dizzyness. Any advice?
Has your doctor done any Blood work? I would ask about that to be sure you aren't anemic or have some other problem. Fluid can get into the inner ear and cause trouble without infection or pain, also there is a condition, not sure how to spell it, called menierres disease which is a disturbance in the ear that causes attacks of dizzyness and nausea, you might want to check that out. I would drink lots of water too or some juices to be sure it's not dehydration, sometimes when you're sick you don't eat or drink as much as you should and that can cause you to be lightheaded and dizzy. The blood work should rule out diabetes, Anemia and other problems.
