Yesterday I noticed that the bottom 2 knuckles (not the top ones) on each finger were purple, and my fingers themselves had a purplish tint to them, but not the same dark purple that the knuckles were. I tried washing it, but it didn't come off and I don't remember using anything like a marker that day anyway. My hands didn't hurt, and they weren't Cold at all, though the weather is kind of cold here and I don't wear gloves usually. The only thing that I did differently was start my new job at a grocery store as a bagger. Today they are better. My fingers are normal, and my knuckles are only a little darker than usual. Any ideas of why my knuckles were like this?
Knuckles get larger and get darker when they are cracked. I crack mine and I have tried to stop. My knuckles look better every week.
