Diet motivation?

Ok, so my life is pretty bad at the moment. My "best friend" blabbed to the whole world who I fancy, and know he knows. He's so much hotter than me and I really want to lose weight to make myself feel better about myself. I started a fast 4 days ago and I've survived on half a plateful of dinner a day (half a chicken drumstick and 2 mouthfuls of rice). How can I help stay motivated? Please don't tell me that my fasting ways are stupid, bad for my health and will slow down my metabolism etc because I already know that, but when I'm feeling this bad, it helps to know that I've got something to aim for. I've thought of looking at pictures of girls who I aspire to look like and stuff, anyone got any more ideas?

Chew lots of gum.
Always carry a bottle of water around you.
even If you don't want to, eat at least 1 slice of bread every morning, makes it easier to get through the day. (preferable all grain)
Try to stay away from any tough exercising.
Try not to concentrate on things all that much.
Do not eat potatoes.
Rice is a great idea, because its more filling.
Get some supplements.
Im thinking you already know the risks in doing this, I'm just giving you these tips, because I know how you feel, I've been through something similar.

For motivation, I guess you can count observe the scale like a madman count your pounds.
Another note, if you DO go on a diet, you will most likely gain all the wight back when you start Eating again, so its not advisable in the first place, but... whatever floats your boat.
