I don't really think I did, by My dad says I might have and he's trying to get me to go to the doctor's office.
Here's what happened: I was at a baseball game last night, and I tried to get into my seat from the row in back of it. Since the seats flip, my (very small) foot went between the backrest and the part you sit on. Then I accidentally leaned on the edge of the part you sit on, So i actually squished my ankle between the seat and the backrest. I scraped my ankle, and now it's a little swollen.
I tried to go for a run this morning like I always do, but the top of my running shoe kept rubbing up against the Cuts. I went for a walk in flip-flops, but now it hurts a little in my ankle when I walk, like I bruised it or something. There is no bruise to be seen. It also hurts when I go down stairs, but not as much when I go up.
Can someone tell me whether or not I've actually sprained my ankle?
It could also be that your ankle is just sore because the seat impacted the muscles/Soft Tissue in there. I just twisted my ankle on Sunday, and people told me to wait a few days, and now the pain is almost completely gone unless I put a lot of pressure on it (ex. jogging). In any case, minor sprains heal with home care, so just remember RICE (rest, ice, compression, and elevation).
