If you are on insulin, it can get too low, causing sweating and other symptoms of low Blood sugar.
If you are NOT on insulin, then you are very unlikely to experience actual low blood sugar, so it could be something else, like thyroid problems or early pre-Menopause.
However, when you first start treatment for Diabetes, you can experience the symptoms of low blood sugar, even with high blood sugar. This happens because your blood sugar has been too high for so long, that your body reads more normal blood sugar as "too low".
This is confusing, but will go away on its own gradually, as you get your blood sugar down and keep it down. The best thing to do is get a meter and test when you feel like its too low.
Your arms breaking out is probably an Allergy, unrelated to diabetes, however, diabetes makes wounds heal more slowly and makes your skin more susceptable to injury, so it looks like you should change jobs as soon as possible. This will probably get worse with time.
Take multivitamins in the morning, the B vitamins in them can keep you up at night.
If your meds say no alcohol, then you can't drink any alcohol. Period.
Good luck with your treatment. Try to get your blood sugar down to normal ranges, to avoid complications. Once its down, you should start to feel better. You should be writting down these questions and asking your doctor on your next visit.
