i have bin detoxing for 3 days, i had migrane from monday, lots of stress and drinking detox pills. is the Dizziness coming from the pills or what? and my stomach is constantly hurting.
Are you detoxing in general? Just to cleanse the body of toxins and poisons? Or are you Detoxing as in 'getting clean' or coming down from drug use like alcohol or other drugs?
If you are detoxing in general the symptoms you described are fairly common. The stomach pains can be a natural result of fasting if you are limiting the amount of food you eat while detoxing. You can also develop Headaches and Migraines from lack of food, and if you are a heavy coffee drinker you may be experiencing withdrawal from the caffeine, again if you decided to forego coffee. And dizziness can result from low Blood sugar.
It sounds more like you are experiencing alcohol withdrawal, simply because you mention 'drinking' and detox pills. Not sure what pills you are taking-whether they are prescribed like some of the benzodiazepines and/or anticonvulsant Medication or if you are just using an over the counter detox pill to clean your system? Withdrawal symptoms from a number of addictive drugs can include Stomach problems, headaches and vertigo. The most common symptoms for alcohol withdrawal are irritability, tremors, nervousness, sweating, vomiting, headaches, rapid Heart rate, and involuntary eye movements. If it gets really bad you can have blackouts, and hallucinations.
The pills can be causing stomach pains. Sometimes the medication is just too strong and causes upset. Don't know for sure without knowing what the 'detox pills' are and what they contain.
With general detox you'll feel worse before you get the benefits of a good liver cleanse just because all of the toxins stored in your body are being released. The same sort of goes for withdrawal from drugs, it tends to get worse before it gets better. If the stomach pains and vertigo are really bothering you maybe you should discontinue the detox pills for awhile and see the doctor.
