I get depressed rather easy, but mostly when I start thinking about my future/present/past and how my life has been. I know there are people who had it harder in life but I cant stop thinking down on myself. I know it seems self centered and I am sorry about that. I was just wondering is there anything (music, Meditation, ext.) to help. I dont want to take pills no more, they dont help.
i got involved in music a few years ago which helped me out a LOT. (played violin/guitar).
you can try to get a hobby, or what about getting a good therapist? maybe part of what makes you depressed is your thought process, which if that's the case, a therapist can try to help you break that kind of pattern.
bottom line is DONT indulge your Depression. i know it's hard to hear when youre there, and it's so hard (believe me i know) but the worst you can do is to stick yourself indoors and not do anything when youre depressed. one thing at a time...force yourself to do things every now and then, even little things, anything to make you not think/distract you of your current state.
