dangers of leaving disposable contacts in for 6 months??

I leave my acuvue contacts in for months on end, and they are perfectly comfortable except for the occasional dryness. Is there any long term affects from this??? knowledgeable answers please! !
You are one lucky SOB-- sorry but I'm wearing contacts for mega years and my soft lenses are so uncomfortable right now i'm squinting because they are so dry and i didn't put them in until 12 this afternoon So i AM JEALOUS-- BUT- side affects are- severe corneal abrasion, Infection and, ugh, are you sure They aren't like glued to your eyes by now? have you at least put drops in your eyes as often as your watered your houseplants in the last 6 months? Seriously, do not try to take them out without dousing your eyes with plenty of fluid- and if you have any discomfort stop and see your eye doctor--- I am really concerned that they are glued to your eyeball--I have trouble taking mine out after 24 hours and actually scratched my Cornea plenty of times trying to--- and they came out in pieces.................good luck
