Dangers of falling on stomach?

I fell a week ago. My abdomen hit the corner of my vanity. I'm not Pregnant, but my main concern is a knot that has formed under the cut from the vanity. I don't know if this is an Infection that has formed, or part of the healing process. Does anyone have any advice?
