Can people get cranioplasty for cosmetic reasons? i was talking to somebody who wanted a vertically 'taller' forehead-different from normal augmentation which makes the forehead rounder in three demensions (we were kind of interested in the same procedure)....
anyways, apparently she found a doctor who could help her out...
now i'm no expert, but using logic, i'd think you'd have to augment the entire top of the cranuim in order to acheive a 'higher' forehead...
am i right?
It could probabaly be done by doing a wegde resection by the top of the cranium would need to be cut off, no a process to be taken lightly for cosmetic reasons!
