Cold sore! Help!?

I've had the beginnings of a Cold sore since yesterday. I need it to go away in time for my sister's wedding in two days. Any suggestions?
Once it pops up, there's nothing you can really do for a Cold sore besides let it run it's course. Ice will help the redness and Swelling a little bit. Next time you start to feel a cold sore coming on (a tiny tingling sensation) get Abreva or Anbesol and put it on there ASAP, up to 4 times a day. This should stop the virus from replicating and thus stop the cold sore from appearing.
