When my skin was starting to peel after the Chemical peel. I peeled the Skin off with my hands and when i did, the area of the new skin under it was redder than the area of the part where i left it alone to peel off by itself. Did i make a big mistake by peeling my skin off manually with my hands? and will it leave a bad mark? I feel so bad.
don't Feel bad, u did not make any mistake by peeling the skin off, it's just irritated. it will not leave a bad mark because what u experience now is called 'skin renewing' which is normal after using the chemical peel at first or using at a large concentration. the new skin underneath the old ones is redder because it is more sensitive, so be sure to use moisturizer with sunscreen protection to avoid further irritation caused by the sun.
