Have had cerical fusion w/bone on c-6/c-5, now c4,c7 herniated and c3 is bulging,numbness in both arm, continued tightnes across shoulders, knife pain in both shoulders, hip pain, Knee Pain, dealing with this for 4 years, have degenerative disc disease, stenosis, and emg says denervation at c7, havebeen to six doctors from just nuerologist to nerosurgeons, everyone says no help only drugs but they do not make the pain go away, only 44, missbeing able to go anyplace, anyone know of any help.....
Have you been to a Physical Therapist? There are interventions including manual techniques, strengthening, postural re-education, stretching, etc etc etc that may really help.
I suggest a PT. You need one who specializes in spines/backs. They will be able to address some of the issues contributing to the shoulder, hip, knee pain as well.
