i have a mole under my armpit and it is raised but i have had it for like 3-4 years and i dont feel any different i just wanted to know if this is Melanoma?
If the mole has been there for years, has not increased in size or shape, colour or consistency it is most likely a normal mole.
Cancerous Moles will grow bigger, have an uneven edge (like a big splotch rather than a nice circle shape). they will change colour, getting darker or reddish, and they will be less smooth than ordinary moles.
If you're concerned about it, it's a simple procedure to have it removed.
