at times when I am having a hot flash I sometimes take my tempture. It seems to go up 99.1 - 99.5. I do not feel sick and that is what I am wondering. Any thoughts?

GnRH also causes LH (lutenizing hormone) to be released. One of the functions of LH is to dilate Blood vessels. This dilation results in increased body heat. So, yes, it can register on a thermometer.
