Three years ago, I passed out at work. I was experiencing high levels of stress at the time. I was doing a show on live t.v. that i wasn't prepared for. And I had not eaten anything all day. It was 1:00 when I passed out and I had been working since 8:00 without a break.
Well, they checked my Blood sugar on the way to the hospital and it had bottomed out. They gave me an IV and they gave me a sandwich at the hospital and some juice. My bloodsugar shot way up. They said it was unusual to see such dramatic differences. He told me to go get tested for Diabetes. I never did and have no other symptoms. Could I still have it after three years of no problems? Is diabetes like that? What other symptoms could I have? I eat alot of sugar.
Actually diabetes has no clear symptoms. There can be lots of people that has diabetes, but still don't have any symptoms. Indeed, it's very difficult to recognize its symptoms and be cured at time.
Coming now to your case. First of all, we don't know your age. Anyway, I can give you an answer without it.
So, if you are less than 40 years old, you supposed to have Type 1 Diabetes. Since you Haven't had any problems until now, it's improbable to have it.
But, instead if you have more than 40 years old, it is supposed that you maybe may have Type 2 Diabetes. As you have told, you only had this episode of up and down blood sugar levels. You cannot exclude the possibility to maybe you'll have diabetes in future.
To recognize diabetes symptoms, first of all, you should classify your self as in risk of developing it. To do so you should know if you're at risk or not. The risk factors to develop type 2 diabetes include; being more than 40-45 years old, obese, having family history with diabetes, if you have had a baby with more than 4 kg weight..........
Coming to the signs and symptoms of diabetes, they include [I'm mentioning some of them]; increased thirst and Urine frequency, Skin problems, Infection problems...........................
Remember; first you must know if you are at risk
then you should 'search for ' the symptoms
and only than you should cure; first line of cure is 'naturally'
the second line comes with drugs according to doctor's prescription.
