Can you feel eye contacts and do they hurt?

well i have contacts, and when i first got them i could feel them in My eye but about after a week i couldnt notice them anymore. i only feel pain when i have dirt or other particles in them if i didnt clean them good or when i wear them too long, But i recomend them over glasses, they r y better and not as much of a pain. Also when i first got them it only took me about 5 mins total for the whole procedure of taking them in and out, My Doctor said i was his fastest paitient to ever do that that he has had, sorry, not trying to brag though.
