Calories? Fat?

Today I was going through my cupboards throwing away old canned baby food and i've never noticed it before but I seen calories and fat labels on the canned baby food, I've just noticed it on my animal food for cats and dogs too.

What is with this? We are now counting calories for our babies and for our young Children? Sorry but I find that UNBELIEVEABLE. I can understand for older children but for younger children nevermind for our babies? It's pathetic! and sickening!

Do you think we are going to far with labeling calories and fat labels on our Animals, babies and toddlers food? I'd really enjoy your opinion.

I agree with you, but I have seen some posts on here from people syaing Gerber is to a baby what frozen tv dinners are to us nutritionally... isn't that ridiculous? It is probably for all of those nuts out there...
