30/male Why - do i have a round almost like belly yet rest of me is Ok, I workout regularly...?
Here's more info:
-I workout regularly - ok, not as much as i used to - once a week right now - usually been 3/week. But i still manage to have regular walks.
I will try and exercise more starting this coming week.
Also - i eat well - have usually Cereal and milk or toast (peanut butter and jam for breakfast) a turkey sandwich for lunch and for dinner chicken breast and rice for instance. (Boneless skinless and usually grilled or stir fried) with noodles or rice.
Why would I have this problem with a "belly" it seems - my shoulders and upper body is ok, arms even so much as defined I think, as I do workout with weighs, legs are ok as well, and my butt is a normal average size and not large. So, why this problem of a belly ?? and the belly isn't like soft ...it's a little hard it seems.
i hate this. Could it be due to dairy i consume maybe about 400ML of milk in morning and yogurt >

also - i seem to have a 'Gas" problem...in that I fart often. This perhaps has to do with the milk /yogurt i consume? Maybe I am lactose intolerant. Any suggestions, i'm thinking soy milk - but then the beans in soy beans....that give gas also? Can this be cause of my 'belly" ??
thanks

I'm going to go see My Doctor today too, and see what he says...please keep giving me feedback on this question. thanks again everyone.
You could be lactose intolerant, but you probably need to change your diet a little bit, warm cereals in the winter, not that Cold stuff, your body Doesn't like it has to work too hard to digest it. In winter months cold cereals aggravate wind and can create a distended belly.
You need more grains and greens in your diet. Turkey and chicken are great, but I'd not be doing them twice a day every day.
Alternate your Protein sources, some of it should be from vegetarian sources like beans and lentils.
Try almond milk instead of cow's milk, which is really not meant for the Human body to consume.
You need more oils in the diet. EFA's. Try some fish oils too.
Yogurt is good, back off on the milk for a few days and see what happens.
Probably need to change the abdominal routine in addition to dietary changes, hard to say exactly what without seeing you.
Find a good Yoga Therapist to give you specifis asanas that would be helpful, and a Naturopath or Ayurvedic Doctor regarding diet and symptoms.
